Edinburgh Road Club choose #EnduraCustom

The Endura Custom team, based at our head office here in Scotland, work with clubs across the globe to create custom kit utilising the same cutting edge production facilities that we use to make WorldTour ready technical apparel for the superstars of Movistar Team and Cervélo Bigla.

One of Endura Custom’s biggest clients are also one of our nearest neighbours – the mighty red machines of Edinburgh Road Club. Established in 1925, the club is now one of the biggest and most successful in the UK and a familiar sight at races and events across the country in all disciplines - road, time trials, track, cross, MTB and triathlon. Their members enjoy a thriving non-competitive scene too, with regular social rides for all levels and all ages locally and nationally.

Back to the world of competition and Edinburgh Road Club are deeply involved in promoting road races and time trials in Scotland with stalwarts of the club like Ken Whitson regularly donning commissaire’s kit to officiate at races far and wide too.

As befits a club with a long and storied history, Edinburgh Road Club also have an extremely active sections for youth and junior riders, helping to develop the next generation of club and racing cyclists. At youth level, their team of volunteer coaches and parents are dedicated to teaching skills, having fun and getting fit in a safe, traffic free environment. For those young people that want to move into competitive cycling, then they have a clear pathway to follow with the ERC Goodson Race Team providing racing at Youth level as well as Junior and U23 squads racing at home and abroad.

The fruits of Edinburgh Road Club’s development work is clear to see on the club’s roll of honour, with a raft of Scottish and British titles in recent years, no more so than the multi-talented Flynn family whose trophy cabinet must overflowing with silverware. Both Anna and Sean having netted British Championship titles across road, MTB and cross in recent years which have seen both siblings progress to British Cycling’s Development Squad.

Alan Blue, Endura Custom:
It’s been great for us to work with Edinburgh Road Club recently, to have a such a huge club in Endura gear is a great honour. In particular, it’s been great to kit out their amazing Youth and Junior squads – the work that ERC do with younger riders is nothing sort of inspirational.
