Patrick conquers LEJOG at age 11!

UPDATE - as a result of his fundraising achievements for Yorkhill Children's Charity, Patrick has been nominated for the 2015 Young Scot Awards - find out more information about Patrick fund raising and vote for him here.

Congratulations from everyone here at Endura to Patrick Kiehlmann who completed an epic October holiday challenge last weekend. Whilst most of his schoolmates were enjoying a break from the classroom, Patrick rode the entire length of Great Britain from Land's End and John O' Groats.

Partrick is raising money for Yorkhill Children’s Charity, which provides and supports the treatment, care and wellbeing of children and their families through The Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill in Glasgow and other hospital and community based services. If averaging over 90 miles a day in your school holidays wasn't impressive enough, the reason Patrick chose Yorkhill Children’s Charity was that he was treated there just two years ago, suffering from serious compliactions caused following a ruptured appendix.

We were delighted to help Partick and Dad Mark out with some kit for their ride - they certainly had the weather to test our jackets out to the max!
